We at Polk Street School are proud of our Frankin Square Historical Society Essay Contest winners. They were honored, along with nine other Franklin Square School District students, at the 27th annual awards ceremony held at Washington Street School on March 25th. This year's essay contest topic was, "What I Would Do in the World Today if I Were an Adult". Congratulations to each of them on this fine achievement.

Congratulations to the 3 contest winners and it was a really great topic. Even if you didn't win what you wrote to do in the world today, you should still try and do it.
